Sissy, if it's possible for you, check out hulu. It really is wonderful to see some of the old shows.
Afton, the rattlesnake episode was my favorite from when I was a kid. When I had checked hulu previously, they didn't have that season yet, so when I was on there the other night and saw it had been added, I clicked on it so fast, I sprained my finger. We rarely got to watch "Emergency!" when it was in first run because it was on at the same time as "All in the Family" and that was a show my dad never missed. Dad ruled the one B&W TV in our house, so we watched what he watched. My big sister was madly in love with Johnny Gage (who wouldn't be?) and she was very sad to miss it.
My father's refusal to watch "Bonanza" was the reason I never got to see that show in first run, even though I was plenty old enough to see it during its initial run.
Who knew someday we'd be able to record shows instead of missing them, or just buy them on DVD or go to a Website and watch them any time we wanted.

Day-um, did anyone see Hilary Clinton being greeted like some sort of savior when she arrived for her first day of work at the State Department? I thought they were exaggerating describing it, but then I saw clips and it looked like she was the new American Idol.
I mean, was Condi that much of a bad-ass or what? The boss from hell? Didn't let them wear khakis on casual Friday?
And keeping with the politics, "The Daily Show" just keeps on going. They're doing a bit called "Gitmo's World" featuring an Elmo-like character that needs a lot of work. And it looks like Joe Biden is going to provide the hilarious, crazy, foot-in-mouth guy.
